Choir Fundraising
We hold choir fundraising events primarily in the Fall Semester each year; because we know life is busy in the Winter with Competition Season and the Spring timeframe is near the end of school. With the upcoming Branson Trip, an additional fundraising opportunity may be provided in second semester to help off-set the trip cost.
Fundraising for NPHS Choirs serves two primary functions:
1. Provide an opportunity for individual choir members to raise money for their accounts.
2. Supplement the General Choir Fund for NPHS choirs.
The General Choir Fund is used primarily to offset costs associated with choir membership, so that show choir participation fees can remain as low as possible for each member. Some costs that are offset by the General Choir Fund include musical arrangements for all choirs, costumes/wardrobe purchases, choreographers, and registration fees for show choir competitions. Many of our fundraising activities will benefit the General Choir Fund. It's important that all choir members and families get involved some way in General Choir Fundraising efforts. The more fundraising that occurs in the General Choir Fund, the better opportunities Mr. Beebe and the Choir Booster Board can offer for all choir students.
We prefer to have short-term fundraising activities, such as coordinating games at the Lion's Club Festival and Elementary Show Choir clinic, where we can engage as many show choir students as possible for a limited period of time. We are always actively looking for Fundraising opportunities. If you know of any specific "one day" activities where we could raise funds for either individual choir members or the General Choir Fund, please let us know by contacting us at newpalchoirs@yahoo.com or reach out to one of our Choir Booster Board members.
