Show Choir Camp
Show Choir Camp is held each summer in July, usually 2-3 weeks prior to the start of the academic school year.
Camp typically consists of 2 half-day sessions and 2 full-day sessions. Specific details can be found on the Calendar tab.
All members of both Crimson Heat and Diamond Sensations for the upcoming school year are expected to attend camp.
If there are any conflicts, students should contact their choir officers and Mr. Beebe at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is Show Choir Camp?
Show Choir Camp is the first official activity of the school year, involving both show choirs at New Palestine High School. Attendance is mandatory for all Show Choir students. The two show choirs will meet at the same time, but work in separate locations at New Palestine High School (Choir Room, Auditorium, etc.) The purpose of camp is for each Show Choir to begin bonding with one another and preparing for the school year. Show Choir Camp involves singing/learning music for the Fall, beginning choreography and possibly some team building exercises. This is away to make sure that members of Diamond Sensations and members of Crimson Heat start of the school year on common ground and having a much better understanding of one another. This is also an opportunity for Mr. Beebe to set expectations for the upcoming school year.
